This guy we just LOVE!! We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase a breeding to Mark Adams from our friends at Triple Diamond Ranch and we knew we needed a top tier dam to breed to him. We chose Red Granite's Freeta and it was a good decision. This guy has shown herdsire potential from the moment he hit the ground. He is robust, energetic and healthy. He has a great head style excellent body type and his fleece... it's gorgeous!! Fine, dense and beautiful crimp!
His sire 3DR Castellanos Mark Adams took the show circuit by storm earning 27 Championships. He truly is a complete package and we thank Danny and Kathy for the opportunity to breed to him.
His dam Freeta is from the incredible breeding program at Red Granite and we purchased her at the Destination Auction.
We just knew this pairing would produce.

Modelo started his show career in the spring of 2026 and we are quite proud of him!
He has shown in both fawn and indefinite light classes. At Rail Splitter and IAFF he was light fawn. At Nationals he was moved to indefinite light which put him in the multi class. Fortunately, there were enough entered, and they had a Championship where he proudly took Reserve Champion.
So... Modelo's coloring is somewhat unique. He has been color checked by judges and has shown in 3 different color classes; Fawn, Light Fawn, and Light Indefinate which puts him in the combined multi class. He has held his own in all 3 classes coming in at the top 3 and even earing championships.
